Collin's Lite
The “Collins Lite” brings
the user the advantages of upper body cycling in a simple to use,
durable design at low cost. Aerobic cycling is generally agreed to
be advantageous for health, stamina, and weight control.
The Collins Lite utilizes
the time proven roller chain drive and the cast iron flywheel
that is common on many Saratoga cycles. In the case of the Collins
Lite, however, the flywheel is of a lighter design and the drive is uni-directional.
This suits the cycle to the weaker disabled population, in that, the
cycle free-wheel feature allows the user to rest without bringing
the flywheel to a stop.
The Collins Lite weighs in
at about 30lbs (13kg) and can accommodate a wide variety of hand
grip choices available to all Saratoga users. It is shipped with
straight standard hand grips and foot pedals for floor usage.
